Setbacks but the fight continues
It was no surprise that Planning & Heritage Committee and Council decisions approved the Master Site Plan. The NCC board also approved. Our second call for an inquiry by Ottawa’s integrity commissioner was turned down.
Undaunted, our next steps are:
- speaking to provincial decision makers about hospital costs (which are severely underestimated) and financing
- lobbying for a full environmental impact assessment and risk analysis
If you have an interest in either of these initiatives, let us know.
The Petition
We now have close to 6,000 signatures calling for an investigation into the site change from Tunney’s to Dow’s/Farm.

Worthy of note
Watch for news about the PM’s visit to the Netherlands en route to COP26. We have alerted Dutch media about paving over Queen Juliana Park and European media about the climate crisis in his hometown.
We need your help!
